Schedule with Dr. David Wichnoski
Dr. David Wichnoski has lived in Charlotte most of his life. He attended local schools and received his B.S. degree in Biology at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and his Doctor of Optometry from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. After graduating from the Southern College of Optometry, Dr. Wichnoski performed residency training at WJB Dorn Veterans Hospital in Columbia, SC. This was a multidisciplinary approach to eye care which exposed him to many other areas of medicine and has prepared him well to become your primary care eye doctor.
After completing his residency training in 1997, Dr. Wichnoski started Spectrum Eye Care the same year. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, and the NC State Optometric Society.

Dr. Megan Price Osborne
Dr. Megan Price Osborne joined Spectrum Eye Care in 2008. She received her Doctorate in Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry (now Salus University) and was chosen to pursue a residency specializing in ocular disease at Seidenberg-Protzko Eye Associates, in Bel Air, Maryland. She is originally from Maryland, but moved to North Carolina shortly after completing her residency.
Dr. Osborne’s training and experience have prepared her well for the challenges of primary eye care and the use of technology in the diagnosis and management of eye disease. While practicing in the Charlotte area, she has thoroughly enjoyed providing specialized eye care as well as continuing to remain well versed in new technology and procedures that arise in the field.
Dr. Osborne is a member of the American Optometric Association and the NC State Optometric Society.

Dr. Meredith Hackley
Dr. Meredith Hackley, an original Charlottean, graduated as a student- athlete from the University of South Carolina- Go Gamecock Volleyball!
She then earned her Doctorate of Optometry at The Indiana University School of Optometry. Dr. Hackley completed externships focused in ocular disease, specialty contact lens, and pre/postoperative eye care at the Quantico Naval Health Clinic, Lasik Pro, and WJB Dorn VA in Columbia, SC.
Dr. Hackley carries a genuine concern for the overall health of her patients and strongly believes in providing individualized eye care.
She is a member of the American Optometric Association and the NC State Optometric Society.

Dr. Alexandra Boldis Lang
Dr. Boldis joins Spectrum Eye Care with more than 10 years of optometric experience. She has provided care in Charlotte Metro since 2017. Dr. Boldis graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a Doctor of Optometry and dual Bachelor of Science Degrees. As part of her externships Dr. Boldis conducted her rotations at the Gainesville VA, Eye Centers of South Florida, in specialty contact lens and was selected for the advanced glaucoma and diabetes clinics.
Dr. Boldis is an approachable, patient focused optometrist committed to taking her time with each patient. She provides personalized care while ensuring patients leave with an improved appreciation and better understanding of their overall eye health. She is passionate about eye care innovation as well as health, wellness and nutrition.
Dr. Boldis is a member of the American Optometric Association and an active board member of the NC Optometric Society.
She was born in Europe and grew up in sunny South Florida. She and her husband relocated to the greater Charlotte area in 2017 which has quickly become their home. In her spare time, she and her husband are fitness and nutrition advocates who enjoy traveling, great food, sports, and most importantly spending time with their daughter.

Dr. Veronica Schuver
Dr. Veronica Schuver is a dedicated optometrist from the snowy small town of Lakewood, NY. She earned her doctorate from The Ohio State University. During her externships, she served veterans at the New Orleans VA hospital. In Athens, Georgia, she gained extensive experience in ocular disease, low vision, and specialty contact lenses. She is particularly passionate about helping individuals with visual impairments.
Dr. Schuver has been recognized for her work with multiple awards, including the Excellence in Low Vision Award in 2021. She is an active community member and leader, with a history of serving on state and national optometric leadership boards, such as the American Optometric Association. She was awarded Ohio Optometric Association’s Leader of the Year in 2020.
Dr. Schuver values making each eye exam personalized and advocating for her patients. She takes time to educate patients on vision and eye health and will go out of her way to make sure individual needs are met. She considers herself a lifelong scholar and innovator, offering the very best in eye care. In her free time, she loves to spend time outdoors, travel, cook, and try out local restaurants!
